Romantic Break for Couples over 50 years

Day 1 – Arrival & Leisurely Exploration

From 1pm:
Arrive in Harrogate and check-in with Harrogate Stays. Enjoy a welcoming cup of tea and get ready to explore the town.

Afternoon:
Stroll to the iconic ‘Bettys Tea Rooms’ for a quintessentially English afternoon tea, where you can indulge in delightful sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and preserves.

Evening:
Visit the Harrogate Theatre for a classical music performance or a play. Post-theatre, enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner at ‘William and Victoria’, renowned for its exquisite menu and fine wine.

Day 2 – Gardens, Arts & Dining

Morning:
Explore the Harrogate Art Gallery, home to a fine collection of 18th and 19th-century artworks. Take a coffee break at ‘Fika’, a beloved local café.

Afternoon:
Visit the ‘RHS Harlow Carr Gardens’, a haven for gardening enthusiasts. Have lunch at the on-site ‘Bettys Café Tea Rooms’ amidst the greenery.

Evening:

Day 3 – Farewell Harrogate

Morning:
Check out of your accommodation by 1030am. Depending if you are travelling North (Fountains Abbey) or South (Harewood House), both options offer beautiful gardens with a wide variety of plants, trees, and an attractive water feature.
