We founded Harrogate Stays to ensure our properties have the seal of approval, eliminating any risk our guests take when choosing where to stay. We offer a wide range of different options depending on what you require and your budget. 

Our traditional B&B rooms provide superb en-suite rooms and a freshly cooked breakfast from our in-house chefs. Our suites and studios have fully equipped kitchenettes providing our guests with flexibility to eat in, eat out or take out. Finally, our serviced apartments offer maximum flexibility and comfort for individuals, couples or groups of visitors.

We love bringing innovative design and technology to the hospitality sector with our smart lock access, Smart TVs and Alexa in every room providing a virtual concierge service.

Check-in is from 3pm until 8pm. Early check-in is subject to availability and is prioritised to guests that have booked directly with us. Check-in after 8pm can be facilitated, please inform us upon booking. 

Check-out is before 1030am. Late check-out is subject to availability and is prioritised to guests that have booked directly with us. 

Yes, we are fully VAT registered and all of our rates include VAT. We can provide VAT receipts upon request.

Sometimes Booking.com or Expedia (Online Travel Agents, or OTAs) will offer promotions and incentives to book with them. We will match any genuine ‘like for like’ quote with the added advantages of direct booking. These include, priority parking, early check-in, our most flexible cancellation policy and helping to support a local independent business.

Breakfast is included in the nightly rate for Fountains Guest House only. All other properties are self-catered. We are able to offer breakfast at Fountains Guest House to Belmont guests for an additional £12 per head. Pre-booking is mandatory.

On-site parking is available at Fountains Guest House, Fountains Apartment and The Belmont. This is provided free of charge. If the car park is full, we provide complimentary on-street parking vouchers. Bank Chambers Apartments do not have dedicated on-site parking, however, parking is available a short distance from the apartments.

The smart locks are very straightforward to operate and full instructions are on the locks themselves. Your access code will be provided on the day prior to check-in. We also provide step by step instructions via email and text message.

As we are a small team with properties in different locations, we are not always available to meet and greet our guests. If we are available, we offer a warm welcome to our guests. However, we also recognise some guests wish to arrive under their own steam and make their own way to their room. If you do require assistance in any way, please let us know and we can arrange this.

We welcome whole property bookings and we can tailor your needs to suit by adjusting breakfast service times etc. Please get in touch early as securing the whole property will require significant advance notice.

Pets are not permitted for stays shorter than one month. For stays greater than one month, pets may be permitted on a case by case basis and subject to additional cleaning charge.

We offer a minimum 2-night stay unless the room goes unsold with 2 weeks to go to check in. Occasionally, we may have ‘gap’ nights which are available throughout the year.
