The oldest golf club in Harrogate dating back to 1892. Visitor green fees from £50 per person. Visitor tee times from 1030am daily.
Featuring one 18-hole course (Par 69, 6198 yards), large chipping area, putting green and an indoor studio. Best to book via the website. The course is open from 1st April to 31st October. Standard golf attire dress code.
There is a restaurant and bar on site, please note cards only, cash is not accepted.
Rudding Park offers two courses, a driving range and putting green. Hawtree 18-holes (Par 72, 6727 yards) and a more relaxed Repton 6-hole course if you’re short of time.
Open all year round with green fees from just £9 for Repton and £25 for Hawtree. Standard dress code for Hawtree course but no dress code for Repton. Buggies are available.
Great option for more relaxed sociable golf with superb bar and dining options on site. Rudding Park Spa also available for ultimate relaxation.
Oakdale Golf Club established in 1914 offers one 18-hole (Par71, 6477 yards) course and a simulator (£10 per half hour, £20 per hour – book in advance). Note there is no driving range so the simulator is a good option to warm up. While the course can be quite forgiving, it still commands respect with its fair share of bunkers, water hazards, rough and spinneys lying in wait.
Visitor Tee times from 9:30 am from £60 per person. Thursdays and Monday afternoons are the quietest times. The only course that is within walking distance of town. Call 01423567162 to book your tee times.
Established in 1904 and offering one 18-hole (Par 72, 6404 yards), Pannal Golf Course is for the more advanced player. The most expensive option at £120 per person, Pannal can be a tricky course especially in the wind.
Book via the website or phone for larger groups. Pannal also offers a simulator at £7 per half hour.
Avoid competition days on Tuesdays and Saturdays, certainly a good option for the more competitive players.
Located between Harrogate and Wetherby, Spofforth Golf Course welcomes pay and play golfers. From £18 per person, a four ball would be just £72 offering great value for the Par 72, 5640 yard 18 hole course.
There is a driving range and a clubhouse offering light refreshments.

Day 1 – Arrival & Golf at Oakdale Golf Club
From 1pm: Arrive in Harrogate and check-in with Harrogate Stays.
Afternoon: Tee off at the ‘Oakdale Golf Club’, one of Harrogate’s premier golf courses. This 18-hole course provides a challenge and variety for golfers of all skill levels.
Evening: Refresh at your accommodation and then head to ‘The Little Ale House’ for locally brewed beers. Follow this with dinner at ‘Konak Meze’, an authentic Turkish restaurant known for its Mediterranean flavours.
Day 2 – Golf at Harrogate Golf Club & Nightlife
Morning: Enjoy a round of golf at the ‘Harrogate Golf Club’, a beautiful course offering an engaging game amidst stunning landscapes.
Afternoon: Return to your accommodation for a leisurely lunch and some downtime.
Evening: Visit ‘Christies Bar’ for a selection of cocktails and a lively atmosphere. Afterwards, head to ‘La Feria’ for dinner, a popular restaurant known for its Spanish tapas and fantastic service.
Day 3 – Golf at Pannal Golf Club or Rudding Park & Farewell Harrogate
Morning: Check out of your accommodation by 1030am. Embark on your final round of golf either at ‘Pannal Golf Club’, an impressive course promising to test your skills, or Rudding Park’s Championship Hawtree Course with its signature 14th hole, named ‘Rhododendron Glade’ due to a profusion of colour in late spring replicating Augusta.
Afternoon: Perhaps enjoy a light lunch at Three’s a Crowd in Harrogate or book a massage at Rudding Park’s Spa before setting off on your return journey.
