The whole team is passionate about ensuring our guests have the most fantastic stay and we all have a role to play.
MEET THE TEAM
Rob
Rob is the co-founder of Harrogate Stays and is self-appointed the brains of the whole operation. Cool and calm are his character traits, he loves systems and ensuring the whole process runs smoothly. With a history as an IT consultant, Rob is a dab hand when it comes to spreadsheets and formulas.

Mark
Mark is also co-founder of Harrogate Stays and is at heart, very much a people person. Following a successful career in the Royal Air Force as a Tornado Navigator, he’s adopted a more family-focused ‘slower-lane’, although at one stage, with 3 children under 25 months, it very much felt like the afterburners were still in.

Marian
Marian is responsible for guest communications pre and post your stay with us. Always striving to maintain her quick response time, Marian also has a very young family and enjoys the flexibility of being able to communicate on the go and not being tied to an office desk.

Jeni
Jeni works alongside Mark with the marketing and operational side of Harrogate Stays. In the unlikely event, you encounter any issues during your stay, these will be flagged to Jeni and quickly resolved and managed accordingly. Following a successful career in events, Jeni can also liaise with guests for any bespoke arrangements you may have, especially for weddings and larger group bookings.

Sue
‘Super Sue’ as she is affectionately known is one of the loveliest people you will ever meet. Sue is the House Manager at Fountains Guest House and works tirelessly to ensure our impeccable standards of cleanliness are maintained. Sue will also more than likely be serving breakfast if you do stay with us at Fountains Guest House.

Renata
As House Manager at The Belmont, Renata runs a very tight ship to ensure everything runs smoothly and the newly refurbished Belmont stays fresh for many months and years to come. As the Belmont is a self-service Aparthotel, you might not see Renata but if you do, don’t forget to say ‘Hello’.

When it comes to having his photo taken, James is very shy. However, when it comes to rustling up a full English Breakfast with poached eggs and bacon cooked just the way you like, James will not fail to deliver.

Karen
Karen joins us at Fountains at the weekends and is passionate about creating fresh, vibrant & colourful food that’s full of flavour but subtle and refined on the palate. Karen is multi talented so you may see her waiting on and also helping out with housekeeping when we’re busy.

Emma
If you’re booked in for breakfast at Fountains on a Sunday morning, you’re in for a treat as not only will you have a superb freshly cooked English breakfast to start the day but you’ll be greeted by Emma’s warm friendly smile. Undoubtedly the kindest soul in North Yorkshire, Emma will ensure you have the perfect start to your day.

Ilona
Ilona works at The Belmont Apart Hotel during the week and is passionate about maintaining the highest possible standards. Having recently relocated from The Ukraine, we are delighted to have her as part of our team.
